#010: How to Marie Kondo Your Brain and Stay Focused on Your Goals
You can’t get focused on your goals if your brain is a shitshow.
How much harder is it to put the perfect outfit together when your closet is a disorganized mess? I found 5 packets of basil in my pantry when I finally decided to clean it out.
It’s not impossible to function in a disorganized environment, but you function way more efficiently when you’ve done away with all the clutter.
That’s why Marie Kondo and the entire ‘organizational industry’ are so huge. It’s proven that a decluttered life equals a decluttered mind.
But there’s one VERY IMPORTANT area that most people don’t spend enough time decluttering.
Your brain.
Your brain is cluttered with your to-do list, and upcoming meetings and the fight you had with your spouse and what your boss said this morning … there’s so much going on in there… you need to keep it clean to be at your best.
In fact, your brain needs to be cleaned up as often as you clean your kitchen…or things are going to start to stink!
So this week’s podcast episode, I’m going to give you a step-by-step daily process you can do to get all the messy, success-blocking thoughts out of your head so you can be less overwhelmed and focus on your goals.
